As 2014 begins and we look back at 2013, the highlight for the poker community would be the return of online poker in the US. Of course, there has been the dominating show from Daniel Negreanu and German players taking most of the high rollers across the world. 2013 was also very positive for Full Tilt as they announcements started trickling from August about the American players getting a date to submit petitions about frozen balances and a probability that they will be able to receive what is due to them soon.
With their worst days behind them, Full Tilt Poker has begun 2014 with a big bang with two crucial announcements. One of them about the Full Tilt Black Card Team Pros and the other about the launch of their own version of the popular Rush Poker cash game variant known as Adrenaline Rush. Here is all you need to know about the Black Card Team as well as the brand new game called Adrenaline from Full Tilt Poker.
Adrenaline Rush and Rush Poker
Rush poker is a poker format innovated by Full Tilt with the same fundamental rules as that of the traditional game. The difference is that you will be dealt a hand instantly and the moment you exit a hand, you will be dealt another. This way you will be able to play a lot more hands than usual. If you feel that you have a bad hand and you want to quit, then you can choose to use the quick fold option, this will move you instantly to the another hand before the action even gets to you.
Based on this variant, Full Tilt announced Adrenaline Rush a version of the Rush Poker format last week. This new game uses a combination of the quick fold from Rush poker with tables containing short hands and shallow stacks to give you the fastest poker game ever. The Adrenaline Rush game includes a four handed betting capped at an equivalent of 10 big blinds. Most of the betting will take place pre flop and as a result the players will either get to raise of simply fold.
Adrenaline Rush also includes some features from Rush poker such as the Quick Fold and the Raise Max option that add extra pace to the game. The quick fold works exactly like with Rush Poker and takes you immediately to the next new table. The Max Raise will instantly raise to the largest amount possible as soon as it is their turn. This provides an incredibly fast paced poker game that is admired by most users at Full Tilt. The head of marketing at Full Tilt Poker, Sarne Loghtman has said that Adrenaline poker is a lot faster than the original Rush Poker and the players can play more hands in an hour and win even more hands and pots while playing against a very large number of players.
